Flesh is adaptable; it grows and changes, and can heal. So it is with Gethsemoni. She sees no contradiction in giving comfort with one hand while destroying with the other. She is the Queen of the Dead, a master of deception, a gentle mother, a wayward daughter; a walking contradiction who nonetheless moves with grace and dignity, full of self-confidence. Do not cross her, for you will never see her retaliatory sting until it is far too late.
